As I walked up the stairs this afternoon Naomi informed me ,"Look out mom! An army of turtles is coming down the stairs."
So there was. A group of 8 turtles were neatly arranged side by side on a stair in 3 rows ( yes one row only had 2.) Some of the turtles were missing their shells. She had placed them on the innermost part of the group. I was told "these other turtles have to protect the ones without shells."
Those turtles later made an appearance in the window sill all lined up watching the roofers remove shingles from the porch roof. There is something about 16 little eyes watching you....
What?! Real turtles? Can they live without their shells? Or fake ones??
ReplyDeleteLittle plastic turtles from a matching game. You open the shells to find out what number they are. I am too lazy to have real pets. Plus things like this would happen if they were real.
