A package came today.
Phebe: Is this for dad?
Me: Yes it is.
P: Can I put this box in the kitchen for my new dad?
Me: (puzzled at her putting " new" in but letting it go) Yes, Phebe you can go put it in the kitchen.
Keegan (a child I am babysitting ): You have a new dad? Who is your new dad?
P: Um... he is the guy that... um... lives in our home....
K:( turning to me) You got a new dad? Who is your new dad?
Your guess is as good as mine Keegan. I have no idea.
